A “Gin”ius and “Beer”y innovative food and drink haven for all

Open for just over a year, Gin and Beer It Bar and Kitchen is a great food and drink spot in Whitehaven that has been growing from strength to strength.

Their artisan pizzas (which have fantastic names like Not Mush-room for Improvement, Heatwave), gorgeous platter spreads and desserts are delicious as well as camera ready and they look as good as they taste - plus you get to compliment your dish with their growing selection of drinks.

Their beers change regularly but include Brewdog, Siren Craft, Tiny Rebel, Fell Brewery, and, after working with the well-known Hawkshead Brewery for the past few months, they will have not one, but two taps serving the brewery’s beer.

They sell more than 40 gins, including the Lakes Distillery collection and their House Gin, both made in Cumbria.

You can enjoy all this in a beautiful setting which has been lovingly restored by the owners Dave and Louise to its traditional stone walls and original flooring thereby creating a charming and relaxing retreat in the heart of Whitehaven’s Market Place.

What also makes them unique is their constant food and drink innovations for their regular and new customers to enjoy such as their latest “Dessert Pizza” a scrumptious pizza topped with mixed berries, mascarpone, chocolate sauce & icing sugar.

They also do a variety of “Chocolate Martinis” including Original, Chocolate Orange, Chocolate & Salted Caramel and Chocolate with a hit of Coffee. All highly addictive!
